I served in Vietnam from 1969-1971. I was an
E-5 with the 545 Combat Engineers. My main base camp was Cu-Chi. While eating canned goods
from Douglas Foods and using barricades made from sand bags made at Cady Bag Co., I learned how small the world really is.
Serving my country was an honor as is serving the people of Coffee County.
